From survivor e-mail report (2007-2008): "Aimee Leclerc was one of said "behavior specialists" that was let go from the program after I witnessed her wiping the resident bloodhound Maggie's anus with a sugar cookie and placing it on a napkin in front of a camera. This was done in order to trap one of us into stealing it and eating it, so she could dish out a punishment and teach us all a lesson. Seeing as our diet consisted of cold and burned leftovers most of the time, the cookie disappeared into a resident's pocket quite quickly. The resident who had grabbed it was informed by a peer as to what we had seen, word got around, and Aimee was gone." In a follow-up e-mail report, survivor stated: "I also forgot to mention that Ironwood actually asked help from Aimee Leclerc and her husband a few months after the cookie incident. She was working directly with us for three days, out on a camping trip Ironwood assembled while the farmhouse area was being refurbished." LeClerc appears to have been formerly licensed (terminated in 2004) as a drug and alcohol counselor in ME. LeClerc has subsequently been licensed as a registered nurse and has been since June, 2010. Every memory I have of this man includes his red eyes and the way his clothing always reeked of weed. Nice guy, however I didn't agree with how obvious it was, especially in front of a group of teenagers with developing drug problems." |
