Being Different IS NOT A Disease!!!

(Conformity is for fascists (i.e. NAZIS), losers, and idiots!)

(Vincent Van Gogh was "diagnosed" post-mortem with "Bipolar Disorder")

This page is dedicated to everyone who has ever been "diagnosed" with a "disease/disorder" for being different.  And, we honor the greats who have blessed the world with their talents, gifts, and contributions.  If you have been "diagnosed" by a quack who is too stupid to understand your beauty, intelligence, creativity, and talent, then this page is for you.

We were inspired to create this page as a result of a false and defamatory statement regarding one of our coordinators made on a site dedicated to maligning HEAL and our efforts to stop institutionalized abuse and fraud.  This coordinator has never been diagnosed with ASPD by a psychiatrist.  And, even if this coordinator were diagnosed with such, she would be in awesome company.  See below for more information.

"Recently, Fox's chief of psychiatry and right wing political hack, Dr. Keith Ablow, psychoanalyzed Bill Maher on Fox & Friends, "the morning happy-talk show that Ailes uses as one of his primary vehicles to inject his venom into the media bloodstream." This deep delving into the DSM IV was a reaction to Maher's satiric comments about Bristol Palin. Fox needed to hit back so they brought on Ablow to explain, in a professionally concerned manner, that Maher's comments stemmed from a deep seated hatred of conservative women. Ablow has also provided "diagnosesis " for Chaz Bono regarding his transgender status (none of Ablow's business) and Media Matters president, David Brock who was totally trashed, albeit in a "professional" manner. This seems to be Fox News' newest and rather creative line of personal attack, given that these "virtual" evaluations focus on what Dr. Ablow thinks are personality disorders in whomever he attacks. (Whoops, diagnoses) This could represent a violation of professional ethics; but for Fox News, character assassination, given by a board certified physician, trumps any issues of professionalism."  Source: http://www.newshounds.us/2011/07/14/bill_maher_responds_to_dr_keith_ablows_virtual_psychiatric_evaluation.php

"Breggin points out that such destructive drug effects would not be tolerated in people about whom somebody cares. Only because they are prescribed to society’s cast-offs can physicians get away with it. Neuroleptic drugs are used wherever social control is at a premium: in psychiatric institutions, prisons, homes for problem children, nursing homes, and in the former USSR, on political dissidents."  Source: http://www.metzelf.info/Book%20Reviews/Toxic.html

And, just for fun... Do a "google search" for "Santorum".  Rick Santorum was on the board of UHS, Inc**.  UHS currently owns Provo Canyon School and is currently suing heal-online.org for speaking the truth about their activities.  Is Rick Santorum a 'commie'?  It would certainly seem he and his associates like to implement the same oppressive and suppressive forces against dissent.  So, we have to wonder...  Dissent is an American value.  If certain politicians can't handle it, they should stay out of it.  Rick Santorum is using the comedy show "Real Time with Bill Maher" (HBO) as a fundraising tool claiming that donating will help stop future "attacks" on conservatives by talk show hosts.  Again, if Santorum is worried about his name being misused, he should get out of politics.  And, HEAL appreciates the openness of Bill Maher's show and condemns the not so secret and private torture and abuse of children at UHS facilities.  So, Rick Santorum, if the name fits, wear it.  And, stop playing the victim.  It is quite despicable the way UHS and Rick Santorum prey on families while playing the victim whenever they are called out for their abuses and violations of the public.

The Maher, Ablow, Santorum, Savage, Bachmann segments are included to prove the point that psychiatry and "mental health" service providers are being used as tools to silence dissent in America and oppress the people.  It is a serious concern and we thank our founders for establishing and defending our rights to free speech.  We will not be silenced.

Billie Holiday (1915-1959) Abbie Hoffman

Billie Holiday spent her youth as a servant.  She witnessed brutal horrors that were condoned by and/or in which the local authorities were often complicit.  The horrors of her life caused her to self-medicate.  She was one of the greatest artists of the 20th century and she died at Metropolitan Hospital in New York.  To understand her life, see "Lady Sings the Blues" starring Diana Ross as Billie Holiday.

Abbie Hoffman was a human rights activist who worked on a number of campaigns including voter registration drives.  He was "diagnosed" with "Bipolar Disorder" and drugged into apathy.  To learn more about Abbie Hoffman, read "Steal This Book" or see "Steal This Movie".
