This program always try's to intrigue and attract parents and youth to their corrupt program by saying they're located in a town that has no crime, a small safe American country town. Well the program is not the town, and the town is not the program. And the program creates a very hostile dangerous environment for kids, and the town itself is a very safe place compared to other areas, despite not having their own Canan or Davis police, just volunteer firemen.
Q apparently stands for Sandy Schmiedikinecht, and A for Angie Shockley the two founders, who work there. The very sad thing a lot of abuse and neglect goes on there. They lie to education consultants, etc, and parents that they are fully licensed and hire trained professionals. That is a scam, and a dangerous one, they hire and work with people who have a lot of "problems". And it's unregulated. It's the kind of place where if a girl got raped by a staff member, a friend of the programs, or etc, they (any of them) especially Sandy Schmiedikinecht would ridicule, threaten, blackmail, and say it's your fault you got raped. And there would be a cold harsh sadistic uptight ignorance and silent treatment and that would be it.
Sandy Schmiedikinecht is the life skills coach, a terrible one, who aggressively monitors the phone calls between kids and their parents every week.
Sandy would even tell kids that staff and her could do anything, "anything" to them, and they would have to put up, shut up and suck it up! She would label kids who were upset, scared, and sensitive as "disrespectful" and many times ridicule scream at them in her Grampas Attic life skills place, and tell a staff there to take them away "from her sight." If a kid told her he or she felt threatened by a staff member, she would turn it around unfairly and tell staff that the kid was threatening her. She also apparently, threatened to throw two girls in jail because they walked off together into the nearby Canan Valley State Park, and because they may have been two bisexual girls that liked each other. One of the girls was apparently forced to stay outside in the cold at night, and was even called "piece of sh$!$!" By Angie's wonderful husband Matt Shockley, who runs the restaurants affiliated with them called Deerfield and Breakfast Nook.
Angie Shockley can be just as manipulative and vulgar, even ridiculing, harassing, and interrogating an autistic girl, who may have called the police or had a dispute at the girls house. He has used vulgar very inappropriate rhetoric towards girls, an example would be girls who didn't want to paint the porch of Deerfield restaurant anymore one time, refused, and he went into a rage of fury yelling something similar to, " girls get to work now or there'll be a storm brewing up your asses!"
Dan Sullivan aka "Dirty Dan" or "the wild onion" by everyone in the area, has used inappropriate language towards boys as well, attacking them personally and thinking he knows everything about things. He even argued that all psychiatric medication was safe and regulated and that psychiatrists knew everyhting, and study, research, and statistics prove him wrong., there's a big problem with Psychiatry, and bringing back to how the program forces, and blackmails kids into taking psychiatric meds is wrong and illegal. Even if a kids goal is to ween off meds and try to get better other ways(which the beautiful landscape of West Virginia could help, with exposure therapies, if they were good people and had a normal program) they reject it and continue their bias ignorant judgmental ways, even though it says on their website and they tell every new client that will do all they can to reach "any" of the kids goals.

He's apparently a social worker of some kind, but it's the only place that would put him working there, because he's Angie's estranged brother in law. He's thrown objects at kids, apparently destroyed personal possessions, threatened physical harm on kids, yelled and tormented an austistic boy because the kid was scared of his dog. He's even told a girl with ptsd to "hit the bricks bitch!" And screams at kids, "Get lost!" And is very strange when it comes to Sandy, and will make it seem like it's the kids fault when Sandy is being abusive, and will say, "Sandy doesn't have to respect you in her own home!" Another strange thing is that the life skills place is apparently part of Sandy Schmiedikinechts home and she brings it up a lot. They're strange cold harsh mean stubborn stingy people. Both Mark Shockley and Sandy make sadistic evil grinning facial expressions when tormenting and inflicting pain on kids. He, Mark doesn't have a staff member at the cabin mountain 24/7 and especially at night. Many times if something happens he comes there at night in a hostile violent mood, not saying if everythings alright and how they are, but screaming "what is your problem!" And blaming the kids that he's there instead of with his family. He's slammed doors in kids faces, threatened to Ff!!$$! Up kids, mock them with a sadistic grin. He had a very special needs boy with a deformed leg and walk, left to his own devices for most of the day, walking around the balcony over a thirty five foot drop to cement parking lot. And there were apartments not associated with the program nearby so anything could have happened. The special needs disabled boy ran down the big highway like street nearby, and Mark realized it late but managed to catch up with him, the boy was apparently naked, and a police officer apparently witnessed Alitalia of what happened supposedly. He hired two unqualified people, named Marissa, and Joan who can't supervise, they make things more unsafe. Joan has ridiculed, yelled, and used blackmail towards kids and even autistic children, making an autistic boy have a panic attack. She's been doing this for all the years she was at the notorious abusive wilderness program called Alldridge Acadmey, and at q&a.; She's treated kids she didn't like unfairly, fueled and promoted other boys at the Journey house to gain up and attack one kid. She's encouraged the real bullies to antagonize and with them interrogated a kid, ten against 1. And at this place kids would even use offensive comments towards kids ethnicities. Staff, such as Gerald Johnson, Mark Shockley, and Dan Sullivan have verbally attacked kids parents to their face. It's disgusting. That's another thing, Angie and staff have labeled one kid one time as violent, when he was being gained up on by nine other boys on a daily basis, being egged on by an unqualified lowlife staff member called Joan. How could 9 against 1, and 1 be the bully? The program causes a lot of stress and harm to kids who have already been through trauma, abuse, neglect, etc. and they don't acknowledge it, they make things worse. Staff have even stated they never took a pledge to help kids under the program. And telling lies to parents, having the nerve to manipulate parents is a method they use. About 95% of the kids who come there have had addictions to alcohol, drugs, other, depression and other mental illnesses, and then about 5% just come to learn how to work and manage their time, or just focus on schooling. The program is terrible because they make it seem like every kid there has made bad choices and needs punishment. It's not true, some kids come there on their free will too.

They're really people with a lot of problems.
Keith Bishop the director of Operations has sometimes used his Air Force background to install a corrupt military thug attitude along with staff towards the kids. He's even said one time that if the US government ordered him to bomb a house with his own family and kids and grandkids he would do it., if it was in the best interest of the the US government, and that he would never question it. And has argued that soldiers aren't supposed to question "any order or action" and says repeatedly, "you have too. Oh you have to." It became very morbid and disturbing when he said people, and him have to kill innocent civilians if ordered by a General. He's apparently worked with the Israeli Air Force (doesn't mean he did anything though, but possible) which has been known to be terrorist (Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, the uncalled for provoking attack on Iraq in early 1980s, and the surprise attack on American Navy ship USS Liberty) and soon a more open minded Liberty approach will create a better peaceful Israel, and two state solution with the people of Palestine. but I love Israeli people and the Palestinian people (phillistines/and Arabs) they're all a great peoples, not the wars, that doesn't represent every soldier or person in Israel. But the US Airforce and army has committed more crimes and atrocities at even vaster scale in wars in the 80"s 90"s and into now (Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, US policy overthrowing the more stable Libya of Qaddafi and now Isil has it, trying to overthrow more stable Assad in Syria by funding Al Qaeda and people who mostly were or became the ISIS) they too don't represent every American. The military should be respected but it too has its many corruption and flaws.. But yes people from bad backgrounds working in these boarding school and youth programs infiltrating it is terrible. One of the saddest things that someone had said was that Angie's husband Matt Shockley had beat the shi$$?! Out of a catatonic boy (trauma and meds) and the boy could not fight back to defend himself.. It may have been he became catatonic and non responsive and very quiet afterwards, or was like that before, but what matters is Matt Shockley was out of line.
Tammy Robbins is a staff member who communicates with kids parents. She is extremely judgmental and loves to point her big finger at kids and loves to hear herself speak. She will give a cold mean stare at children if she thinks they're making too much noise, because she loves to hear her evil manipulative voice over and over again. But she's not harmless at all, she's cold and intolerant and mean and uptight. She thinks she has the right to stop kids from visiting parents and parents from visiting kids. A big lack of communication and understanding between the kids and their parents is always reported. She's apparently been married 5 times, so has Angie. Tammy loves to inflict torment with sadistic ways on kids who are in a panic, upset, homesick, or been recently abused in a way. When parents come to visit, Tammy is constantly texting and calling them. The program tells parents if on the visit the kids cause them problems, they have to call the program and the program will pick them up and that would be the last time they see their parents until, we'll never sometimes. Not to mention Tammy and Audrey Peavey the intake coordinator telling parents to cut the cell phone service of their kids if they have a phone.
Audrey Peavey the intake Coordinator is one of the biggest liars you'll ever come across in the unregulated program field. She lies that the program will help any kid with any goal they want to achieve, anywhere from health to school to careers. The program has failed to do so. And Audrey rushing kids through about 50 different papers to sign, right when they come to the program even before their decision on whether they want to stay or not.. And being extremely pushy about it all. And to mention how terrible her attitude got about a kid who believed Sandy was recording phone calls, and mouthing off about him to other kids saying he was "paranoid" and how everyone knows he's paranoid and that the kid wanted to sue q&a; for millions and that it was never going to happen. I guess It's all about the money!
Gerald Johnson a Journey House Boys staff can be one of the biggest stingy cold creepy guy when it comes to money, like refusing to buy, with program money too, warm insulated muck boots for the harsh cold winter for some poor kid, who had to wear regular and almost froze one time. Or being passive aggressiveness then ridiculing kids at a McDonald's or Burger King about buying only under $3-5, in front of the whole restaurant and cashiers. Not to mention forcing kids to throw away their breakfast, or telling kids they can't eat anything.
Rene Crowl a Journey house boys staff mentor has Been notorious for neglect. She takes sides with certain kids who bother another kid, when they're bein the main instigator. She's even gotten physical shoving her huge arm against the stomach and cheast of a kid trying to walk into the journey house. And screaming stop it stop it over the kid she unfairly blamed for an argument with another kid, yelling so aggressively and loud it was traumatic, and telling the kid, who was not doing anything to, "hit me hit me come on hit me" almost as if trying to provoke a physical fight, being the big bulldog brute she is. And pointing her finger at his face, and it hitting his nose and cheeks. After all the staff members who like to assert dominance over people by screaming very loud so the kids can't speak are, Dan Sullivan, Joan Huffman, and Rene Crowl.
The program has also allowed kids who came there to get away from drugs and alcohol, be intoxicated at the Journey house, where some become overly irritable, sadistic, angry, and provocative towards other kids who are sober. The program has failed also to heal kids addictions to drugs and alcohol.
If boys don't like other boys for different reasons, such as jealousy, etc, and they see staff mistreating those other boys, the bullies and pessimists will gain an edge and they'll think that if a staff doesn't respect an enemy I don't have to. There's also a lot of hierarchy with other kids and staff. Matt Shockley had hired a kid from the program to be a manager at the nook restaurant, where the kid who didn't like a certain kid working there, possibly from jealousy, who would lie about the kids working progress, that it was poor when the kid was doing his best.
The program was also intolerant towards kids suffering from psychiatric medication side effects and painful symptoms, and wouldn't accommodate kids who weren't ready on time, like in the morning, Gerald Johnson denying the kid food and not listening to the kids side and pain, and Keith Bishop lecturing people when they forget or don't take their medications. Another big stressor an terrible thing is that the same staff who torment, ridicule, and even physically abuse the kids are the ones giving out thesis medications.. It's a horrible feeling, how could you trust someone, there's always a what if, and worse possibility, that an intentional poisoning could happen.
The social worker or therapist for the program is Angie's chosen, an ex staff from criminal Alldredge Academy, named Jen Randal. She's been told about numerous abuses and has never done anything, I thought social workers and therapists were supposed to report abuses and life threatening concerns their patients have told her. No she's judgmental, says one thing and does another, and very manipulative and bias. She tells kids that it's all part of their paranoia and sickness and that's why they were seeing her, it's all an organized criminal cult. Yes an organized criminal cult. And as I now wrap up, I want to remind that Dan Sullivan and a lot of the staff were very hard on kids and most likely to all those poor kids who died last December and January.

And has argued that soldiers aren't supposed to question "any order or action" and says repeatedly, "you have too. Oh you have to." It became very morbid and disturbing when he said people, and him have to kill innocent civilians if ordered by a General. He's apparently worked with the Israeli Air Force (doesn't mean he did anything though, but possible) which has been known to be terrorist (Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, the uncalled for provoking attack on Iraq in early 1980s, and the surprise attack on American Navy ship USS Liberty) and soon a more open minded Liberty approach will create a better peaceful Israel, and two state solution with the people of Palestine. but I love Israeli people and the Palestinian people (phillistines/and Arabs) they're all a great peoples, not the wars, that doesn't represent every soldier or person in Israel. But the US Airforce and army has committed more crimes and atrocities at even vaster scale in wars in the 80"s 90"s and into now (Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, US policy overthrowing the more stable Libya of Qaddafi and now Isil has it, trying to overthrow more stable Assad in Syria by funding Al Qaeda and people who mostly were or became the ISIS) they too don't represent every American. The military should be respected but it too has its many corruption and flaws.. But yes people from bad backgrounds working in these boarding school and youth programs infiltrating it is terrible. I'm not trying to go off topic, I'm just saying a lot of larger crimes and abuses going on in the world can sometimes even mirror an abusive program., that's all I'm trying to say. That's a point I've been trying to make here from all I've been writing. And to get back to what I was saying , and many other programs are even worse I presume, and I believe people with blood on their hands have infiltrated a lot of these places.
Keith bishop has also threatened physical harm on kids and when they say they'll go to the police he backfires and with an evil grin says "try"
According to many kids whenever police come, which is not usually, many don't do anything, like theyre with The program or manipulated, and many police have had a bias judge mental attitude and unhelpful neglectful attitude towards the kids.
One of the saddest things that someone had said was that Angie's husband Matt Shockley had beat the shi$$?! Out of a catatonic boy (trauma and meds) and the boy could not fight back to defend himself.. It may have been he became catatonic and non responsive and very quiet afterwards, or was like that before, but what matters is Matt Shockley was out of line.
Tammy Robbins is a staff member who communicates with kids parents. She is extremely judgmental and loves to point her big finger at kids and loves to hear herself speak. She will give a cold mean stare at children if she thinks they're making too much noise, because she loves to hear her evil manipulative voice over and over again. But she's not harmless at all, she's cold and intolerant and mean and uptight. She thinks she has the right to stop kids from visiting parents and parents from visiting kids. A big lack of communication and understanding between the kids and their parents is always reported. She's apparently been married 5 times, so has Angie. Tammy loves to inflict torment with sadistic ways on kids who are in a panic, upset, homesick, or been recently abused in a way. When parents come to visit, Tammy is constantly texting and calling them. The program tells parents if on the visit the kids cause them problems, they have to call the program and the program will pick them up and that would be the last time they see their parents until, we'll never sometimes. Not to mention Tammy and Audrey Peavey the intake coordinator telling parents to cut the cell phone service of their kids if they have a phone.
Audrey Peavey the intake Coordinator is one of the biggest liars you'll ever come across in the unregulated program field. She lies that the program will help any kid with any goal they want to achieve, anywhere from health to school to careers. The program has failed to do so. And Audrey rushing kids through about 50 different papers to sign, right when they come to the program even before their decision on whether they want to stay or not.. And being extremely pushy about it all. And to mention how terrible her attitude got about a kid who believed Sandy was recording phone calls, and mouthing off about him to other kids saying he was "paranoid" and how everyone knows he's paranoid and that the kid wanted to sue q&a; for millions and that it was never going to happen. I guess It's all about the money!
Gerald Johnson a Journey House Boys staff can be one of the biggest stingy cold creepy guy when it comes to money, like refusing to buy, with program money too, warm insulated muck boots for the harsh cold winter for some poor kid, who had to wear regular and almost froze one time. Or being passive aggressiveness then ridiculing kids at a McDonald's or Burger King about buying only under $3-5, in front of the whole restaurant and cashiers. Not to mention forcing kids to throw away their breakfast, or telling kids they can't eat anything.
Rene Crowl a Journey house boys staff mentor has Been notorious for neglect. She takes sides with certain kids who bother another kid, when they're bein the main instigator. She's even gotten physical shoving her huge arm against the stomach and cheast of a kid trying to walk into the journey house. And screaming stop it stop it over the kid she unfairly blamed for an argument with another kid, yelling so aggressively and loud it was traumatic, and telling the kid, who was not doing anything to, "hit me hit me come on hit me" almost as if trying to provoke a physical fight, being the big bulldog brute she is. And pointing her finger at his face, and it hitting his nose and cheeks. After all the staff members who like to assert dominance over people by screaming very loud so the kids can't speak are, Dan Sullivan, Joan Huffman, and Rene Crowl.
The program has also allowed kids who came there to get away from drugs and alcohol, be intoxicated at the Journey house, where some become overly irritable, sadistic, angry, and provocative towards other kids who are sober. The program has failed also to heal kids addictions to drugs and alcohol.
If boys don't like other boys for different reasons, such as jealousy, etc, and they see staff mistreating those other boys, the bullies and pessimists will gain an edge and they'll think that if a staff doesn't respect an enemy I don't have to. There's also a lot of hierarchy with other kids and staff. Matt Shockley had hired a kid from the program to be a manager at the nook restaurant, where the kid who didn't like a certain kid working there, possibly from jealousy, who would lie about the kids working progress, that it was poor when the kid was doing his best.
The program was also intolerant towards kids suffering from psychiatric medication side effects and painful symptoms, and wouldn't accommodate kids who weren't ready on time, like in the morning, Gerald Johnson denying the kid food and not listening to the kids side and pain, and Keith Bishop lecturing people when they forget or don't take their medications. Another big stressor an terrible thing is that the same staff who torment, ridicule, and even physically abuse the kids are the ones giving out thesis medications.. It's a horrible feeling, how could you trust someone, there's always a what if, and worse possibility, that an intentional poisoning could happen.
The social worker or therapist for the program is Angie's chosen, an ex staff from criminal Alldredge Academy, named Jen Randal. She's been told about numerous abuses and has never done anything, I thought social workers and therapists were supposed to report abuses and life threatening concerns their patients have told her. No she's judgmental, says one thing and does another, and very manipulative and bias. She tells kids that it's all part of their paranoia and sickness and that's why they were seeing her, it's all an organized criminal cult. Yes an organized criminal cult. And as I now wrap up, I want to remind that Dan Sullivan and a lot of the staff were very hard on kids and most likely to all those poor kids who died last December and January.
REMEMBER THE RIGHT TO DEFEND PEOPLE AND THE RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH FOR ALL .. FREE SPEECH IS A BEAUTIFUL thing

After going over the website of Red Rock Canyon School, on October 1, 2016, we sent our son there thinking that this place would be a great place for him to get help. We made a horrible mistake, on February 15, 2016, 4 1/2 months later, we picked our son up from a hospital room, where he had just undergone 3 hours of surgery. The staff had broken his humerus bone in three places. He will wear a plate and thirteen screws in his arm for the rest of his life. At this point we still don't know how much permanent physical and emotional damage he has sustained. A staff member said that the staff over reacted and that the surveillance video was hard to watch. He also added that the whole incident took less than 30 seconds. He said that a video would be available to us by the end of that day. It is now March 6, 2016 and we have gotten nothing but excuses as to why the video is not ready. Unfortunately, it is now our understanding that our son was not the first child to sustain a broken limb nor the last. Two days after picking up our son we were told that staff broke another child's arm.

During his short stay there of 5 months he endured numerous injuries that couldn't be explained on how they occurred. This Facility is not what it was said to be! I removed my son after his last injury which was the most serious of all. If you have a disabled child and are desperate for help...do your research! NEVER PLACE THEM AT BANCROFT!!! You will be hurting them instead of helping them.
