Former staff member reported the following to HEAL on September 11th, 2009: "This was definitely an abusive facility 2 years ago. I was their clinical therapist and was fired for making DCFS aware of this. I fought them for unemployment in 3 courts and won. It may have changed since then. If it hasn't, DON'T SEND YOUR CHILDREN THERE!!!!!! Choose to remain anonymous. Thanks." |
*(Sleezer Youth Home, like many other programs in this industry, keeps a "tight lid" on any specific information regarding their staff, qualifications, and practices. Please contact us with the names of any staff of which you have firsthand knowledge or experience. Thank you for your help.) | ||
HEAL telephoned this program on October 16th, 2010. The phone was answered in an unintelligible manner. The person was speaking to others and not addressing the caller. Following this rude behavior, the first word muttered by the woman answering was unintelligible. The second word stated was "unit". And, before the HEAL representative could respond, the woman on the line yelled "hello" twice. The HEAL representative hung up at this point because it was apparent that the program is under-staffed and/or employs unprofessional individuals. |
