ACTION ALERTS!!!

BOYCOTT CHUCK PHELPS FROM BOB JONES UNIVERSITY!!!!!!

The first televised live interview of Tina Anderson by the national media on May 29, 2010.  Since the beginning Tina claimed Phelp blamed her.  http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/05/29/earlyshow/saturday/main6530160.shtml  "Anderson says when she came forward about the alleged rape and eventual pregnancy, church officials, led by now former pastor Chuck Phelps, blamed her. Anderson claims she was forced to stand in front of her congregation and apologize for getting pregnant, and write a letter asking Willis' wife for forgiveness. She was later sent off to Colorado where, she says, she was forced to give up the baby for adoption."

The video is no longer available on the CBS website.  Here's the you-tube video.  (The picture is reversed because the program was recorded using a camcorder).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDVveQP0KKM  This report incorrectly said that Willis was a deacon, he was not a deacon but an elder.

Tina's brother steps up and cooperates her testimony against Phelps and Willis early on.  http://www.fox59.com/news/wxin-pastor-rape-case-controversy-060310,0,2291723.story

Chuck Phelps himself preached this message on Church Discipline on April, 21, 2010. Phelps talks about a "young lady" coming before the church after being found pregnant outside of wedlock.  Although he says there was nothing going on, this message was preached one month to the day after Ernie Willis was arrested.  http://www.sermonaudio.com/playpopup.asp?SID=421102036570  Here's the Chuckletravels post about this message. http://chucklestravels.wordpress.com/2011/05/09/phelps-prickly-issues/

ABC News 20/20 aired, "Shattered Faith" April 8, 2011.  Phelps said on  camera that Tina was in a ongoing dating relationship with a married man http://chucklestravels.wordpress.com/2011/05/03/chuck-phelps-the-martyr-for-truth/

On May 14 the Baptist Fundamentalist paper published a phone interview where only Chuck Phelps was interviewed.  (See copies in attached files.) http://chucklestravels.wordpress.com/2011/05/16/the-ifb-does-not-love-justice-or-mercy/

The Concord NH Police began investigating Ernie Willis in February 2010, Phelps was contacted by the CPD.  Please see the timeline of Phelps' reappointment to the Bob Jones University Cooperating Board in the attached file.

Trial takes place, Phelps had to be called as a hostil witness to testify for the prosecution. Unofficial court transcript of Phelps testimony here. In one of the last statements Phelps called Tina a liar when responding to this question by Prosecutor Wayne Coull.

Phelps shed tears over the perpetrator.

Phelps called Tina a liar before stepping down:

Prosecutor Wayne Coull: "Do you at least acknowledge that you would never do this again? That you would

not have Tina stand before 500 people and “confess?”"

Phelps: "With great sorrow, I regret this, because the press and the newspapers have called me anything but

an honorable man! That is the case here! The case is that they have blamed me. They have spun me as a rapist

just because I asked a lying girl some questions! I regret that."

Ernest Willis was found guilty of 5 counts on May 27, 2011. Willis was sentenced  to 15-30 years in NH state prison on September 6, 2011

Bob Jones University and Bob Jones, III kept it quiet that Chuck Phelps re-appointed to its board.  We finally found out November 1, 2011.  Phelps doesn't even list it on his own bio on the church in Indianapolis he currently pastors.

Charles has been involved in full-time ministry since 1982. Since earning his doctoral degree fifteen years ago, he has actively engaged in teaching a future generation on the college and seminary level. He has worked in numerous schools in the United States and on foreign fields as diverse as Belarus, India, Cambodia, Zambia, and Mexico. He especially enjoys teaching pastoral ethics, church management, church growth, and discipleship. His favorite doctrinal studies are ecclesiology (the doctrine of the church) and eschatology (the doctrine of biblical prophecy). Charles serves on many advisory boards including those of Baptist World Mission, Central Africa Baptist College (Zambia), Fundamental Baptist Fellowship International, Gospel Fellowship Association, and the Wilds Christian Camping Association.

Note The Wilds is a Christian Camp where young children and teens attend.  Bob Jones University faculty members helped build the Wilds Camp in Brevard, NC.  The Wilds has now opened a second camp Wilds of New England.  What is a man like Phelps doing on the board of a camp when he treated a minor rape victim in such a deplorable way?

To make it worse Chuck Phelps co-teaches a class on "Pastoral Ethics" at BJU.  http://mildlyinsightful.com/2011/11/19/chuck-phelps-professor-of-pastoral-ethics/

Simone Jones, HEAL Kansas Coordinator, is the 2nd Caller on the above Radio Show.

(HEAL does not endorse nor affiliate with CAFETY nor any PARTNER of the abusive programs.)

(Kathryn Joyce's commentary on New Beginnings, New Bethany, and Hephzibah House begins approx. 19 minutes in and lasts until 57 minutes into the audio.)

Phil Kidd: "Man-O-Gawd"

He preaches that God hates all other races, but his own. He preaches about how women need to be beaten into submission. He preaches that children should be seen, and never heard unless asked to speak. He frequently came to New Bethany and was allowed to take girls across state lines, for the purpose of making money. He is an evangelist, protected by God, yet he has body guards....

Mack Ford, Founder and owner of the New Bethany homes for girls and boys.

August 2010, five survivors went back to New Bethany, hoping to gain some closure form the years they had suffered horrendous abuse and torture, at the hands of Mack Ford and his staff members. We were taking photos of the compound, Mack Ford was taking photos of us, with his Stanley tape measure.

While The New Bethany Home for girls and boys is closed (for now) Mack Ford still lives on the property, which is over 250 acres, with four huge buildings. At one point he had one half of the property for sale, listed for over 2 million dollars.

He is sitting on a pot of gold, and his only means of acquiring this was to exploit children for decades. He collected up to $1,000.00 dollars per month, per child, yet traveled the country going from church to church, claiming that New Bethany ran only on donations.

You would think that while he has access to unlimited money, he could at least afford to purchase a camera...
