Hello, and welcome to HEAL IOWA chapter. My name is John Giesler. I am 39 yrs old (2010).   I am the proud father of four children. I was born in Lee's Summit, MO. I was raised in the small community of Canton, MO. In spring of 1985 at the young age of 14 I was imprisoned at Bethel Baptist Children's Home (a/k/a Bethel Boys Academy), in Lucedale, MS. I remained imprisoned there under the torture of Herman Fountain until June 13th, 1988 when the state of MS backed up by the dedicated professionals of the MS State Troopers raided the compound and removed 72 abused and neglected children. I suffered unmercifully at the hands of Fountain and his staff; verbally, physically, and on a very intense level emotionally. I have not let it ruin my life but rather let it motivate me to go after the behavior modification industry, and to educate the public as to their motives, tactics, and the end results they produce. I invite you to browse the HEAL site and educate yourself to this injustice they force on our children. I am always available to talk and would look forward to speaking to each and every individual who takes the time to stop by.

I am proud to be a citizen of this great state, and of the wonderful city of Council Bluffs. Iowa is known for "putting the children first" and I sincerely look forward to working with them to accomplish that. HEAL IOWA is currently taking the following actions:

(1) We have launched an in depth research and course of study concerning concerning the licensing requirements and procedure for unregulated programs in the state of Iowa.

(2) We are compiling a list of and contact information for government officials for the state of Iowa.

(3) We are compiling a list of and contact information for government officials for the city of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

(4) We are compiling a list of and contact information for government officials for the city of Keokuk, Iowa.

(5) We are compiling a list of and contact information for hospitals and health professional in and within a fifty mile radius of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

(6) We are compiling a list of and contact information for hospitals and health professionals in and within a fifty mile radius of Keokuk, Iowa.

(7) We are compiling a list of and contact information for government officials for the city of Des Moines, Iowa.

(8) We are compiling a list of and contact information for health professionals for the city of Des Moines, Iowa.

Following the completion of these preliminary actions we will launch a number of intensive and aggressive campaigns across the state of Iowa.  We will demand answers and results and will settle for nothing less.
