welcome to heal headquarters (HQ)--Seattle
HEAL began as a registered student organization at the University of Washington--Seattle Campus in March of 2002. The entire HEAL site was originally dedicated to our local actions. This is why there was not a chapter site devoted to our actions as there is for the chapters who started up after our initial inception in 2002. This chapter site will remain simple and basic and we hope that you will find navigating our site easier over the next few months and continue to seek and find information about and participate in HEAL HQ and all of our sister chapters, events, and action alerts.
Summer '08 Update: Held meetings, filed and worked on I-999, prepared for summer outreach events.
Autumn '08 Plans: Meetings in September, October, and November (see www.heal-online.org/events.htm for scheduling), updated websites, authored weekly e-newsletters, and supported all other HEAL chapters in their actions and events.
